Akston is best known for his surreal-expressionist style with bold use of color, energy and abstraction. He has had one-man exhibitions across the United States and has been editor and publisher of multiple art magazines. It is signed and titled on the reverse 'Fire in the Everglades' 1975. It is presented in a wood frame with burlap matte. This is an impressive original piece of art fit for any collector!
