This exquisite and remarkable brooch is a charming and elegant example of Georgian jewelry dating back to approximately 1830. The brooch measures 1.50 inches in diameter and is crafted from 18k yellow gold, visible on the back of the brooch, where the C-clasp and tube hinge are located. The combination of shiny black onyx and delicate hair creates a unique and striking appearance, with twelve round onyx stones artfully arranged around a central glazed hair compartment.
