About Olga Fisch Folklore

Olga Fisch Folklore is an Ecuadorian brand founded in 1942 by Olga Fisch, a Hungarian Jew and Bauhaus artist who arrived in Ecuador in 1939. She soon fell in love with Ecuadorian popular culture, full of colors and textures. He soon began applying all of these influences into his own designs, working hand in hand with local artisans and giving them a platform to showcase their skills and talents. Among his most famous designs are his rugs, which have been featured at MoMA, Lincoln Center, the UN building, and several other renowned collections.
