It is in fair … more Vintage Mid Century Modern cedar lined trunk/chest/bench made by Lane probably in the 1950's or 1960’s. It is in fair vintage condition. There is some wear to the original black vinyl. I could have this reupholstered for you for a small additional fee. Ther is a scratch on one end but it doesn't show until you get up close. There also appears to have been a repair to wheel area on the bottom. You can see it from the inside of the trunk and underneath. Despite this the trunk still seems very structurally sound. Very cool piece that could be used for storage in your living room, bedroom, or child's room.

In accordance with CPSC, I have removed the latch on the lid due to safety reasons. The trunk can no longer be locked because of this. United Furniture Industries is no longer administering the recall and replacement latches and locks per an announcement on 1/31/2023, and it is unclear if the replacement remedy will be made available again. Very cool piece that could be used for storage in your living room, bedroom, etc.
