The glaze is in two tones, golden honey and sand colors, and it appears to be glazed on the interior as well.
It is impressed: "William Turner, Wholesale & Retail Wine & Spirit Merchant, Portland St., Fareham;" "Doulton Lambeth," and "2" (liters).
It was made circa 1880s. Doulton Lambeth became Royal Doulton in 1901 when King Edward VII permitted the company to add "Royal" to its name. less
