Stunning large format (60" l x 40" h) dye sublimation print by nature photographer Thomas Blagden Jr., depicting Maine birches in autumn. The image originated from his series and Rizzoli book on Acadia National Park's Centennial in 2016.
Blagden, whose father, Thomas Blagden Sr., was also a photographer of note (1911-2010), has been the photographic author of a total of eight artist monographs and coffee table books, on subjects the range from Acadia, to the Grand Canyon.
His images have appeared in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, as well as magazines, including covers of Smithsonian, Audubon, Outdoor Photographer, and Nature Conservancy, just to name a few.
This print is in pristine condition, with excellent provenance.
It comes with its original wooden crate, that is in excellent condition, thus the buyer has only to pay for shipping, not crating.
