Description: French Vassilier made of oak/chestnut/burlwood. Rich, original patina. Pegged construction. Original pulls and hardware. Upper section, lots of plate display … more French Vassilier made of oak/chestnut/burlwood. Rich, original patina. Pegged construction. Original pulls and hardware. Upper section, lots of plate display plus two (2) with compartments and two (2) drawers for more storage. Carved flowers on doors and drawers. Bottom section, there are two (2) large, deep drawers plus one (1) narrow, deep drawer. Then two (2) large doors with carved flowers and keys. Lots of storage room. Circa 1830-1860. Elegant, yet crudely constructed by a country craftsman. Pegged construction. All we have done to this piece was to hand wax it. Great looking Country French Vassilier! less
