This pot was in probably the worst condition of any pot that's come into our collection, with numerous dents and bends to the body and lid, we spent a lot of time on it and gave it a lot of TLC and were able to remove most of the issues, though the lid finial will always have a little bit of a tilt, and there is still a dent on the base edge that will cause it to have a bit of movement on a perfectly flat cooking surface like glass. Beautiful dovetailed construction. Newly polished, re-tinned, and ready for use! less

An antique circa 1870s English copper pot and lid, marked with the name and address of a London ballroom and social club! Willis's Rooms on king street (originally known as Almack Rooms) in London were private ballrooms, meeting and social rooms from the 1700s until the building was destroyed during WWII, they held a number of historic meetings and balls over the years; the British Red Cross was founded after a meeting at Willis's Rooms! This is such a unique piece, it would be the highlight of any copper collection!
