A Swedish 18th century floor clock with original paint and delicately carved crest. The original face is signed Johan Lindstrom, is housed within a rounded head with rounded trim. The belly is minimally adorn, and has a large one-hinged door opening to the right, and window at it's cesnter. The lower section has a delicately outlined molding showcasing it's curvy shape, and is raised upon a scalloped base. Circa 1770-1780.
This clock would be a wonderful decorative object. Though it retains it's original face and movement, it is not currently in working condition. The original hands are too heavy to carry the quartz movement. less
