Vintage; C.2000 Marvin Alexander, French Baltic-Style Gilded Bronze & Crystal, 2-Arm Light Wall Sconces, with embellished crystals throughout. Part of the "E'toile," Collection. Prdct. Item # S-174. The upper top portion has a triangular and elongated crystal that is above the mainframe of the wall sconce, and is fitted to screw onto the mainframe, while at the top portion of this is a bronze fitting which has the embellished crown-like drooped portion, (This part of the crystals may be removed IF for image or some reason, one wants simpler and refined, WITH LESS crystal topped detail, while the crystal triangular or obelisk-shaped insert stays upon the mainframe. ONE can ALSO take that portion OFF, if they wish LESS is best and not as over the top, and a small ball finial top may be places over the screw which is utilized to add the upper section of this highly sophisticated , eclectic and wall sconce. In excellent condition.
Well preserved and maintained. Maker's mark label on the reverse within the oval=shaped back, inset as last 3 images indicate. From a Miami Beach, Fl. Estate.
