We love Marble decorative pieces made then, as they were given colorations, beyond the norma of marbles natural coloring, on center bowls, lidded boxes and the like. There are 2 stickers affixed on base bottoms, on states provenance country, of Italy, while the other states, "hand-crafted in Italy expressly for Schmid Brothers, Inc. I.e for the Import Market here in America. In great condition, no chips, but minor edge along the flat surface sides, where upon moved to and from, and underside as last image indicates, otherwise a wonderful accent for any library, den, entry, family room and the like. less
