Small clock - circular wall cartel in Empire green patinated bronze surmounted by an eagle with outstretched wings and highlighted with a palmette and scrolling motif. Fire-gilt, patinated bronze, decorated with an eagle - an imperial symbol. The white enamel dial surrounded by a finely chased circular gilt bronze and green enamel clock case and surmounted by an impressive gilt bronze eagle, a so-called 'Aigle de drapeau' the French Imperial Eagle, a standard carried by the Grande Armée of Napoleon I during the Napoleonic Wars.
White enameled dial, Arabic numerals for hours, dots for minutes. Dial protected by a concave cast brass bezel.
Fitted with an 8-day movement with the spiral movement
The back of the clock has the numbers 1715 on it.
