The amount of skill and craftmanship that went into creating such a work of art is hard to fathom. It has a majestic serpentine front with exquisite inlay and ebony banding worked into a showstopping geometrical design. There is not a section of this chest that does not display unique and beautiful character. The top and sides feature ebony diamonds that makes the background of the wood's natural detail come to life. These features are indicators that this is a European piece native to either Continental/ Southern Germany or Northen Italy. These two countries have close borders and culture and design often blended between the two regions. This chest will be the center of attention wherever it is placed. less
