The ovoid shape and clean lines of this solid wood turned urn could transition from a traditional to contemporary style dwelling. The vessel is a warm honey color with subtle swirls of the grain moving throughout and is a moderate size with a lid fitted with a finial. It would be attractive as a stand alone piece on a foyer table or amongst a collection of vases or urns. The wood type is possibly yew, however, even with research I was unable to confirm that. Either way it's a beautiful piece. I hope you'll consider this treasure to be a "keeper" in your home.
