Description: This fabulously rustic petite beauty was handwoven using wood lashes and splints which have aged gracefully producing the earthy multi-dimensional … more This fabulously rustic petite beauty was handwoven using wood lashes and splints which have aged gracefully producing the earthy multi-dimensional colors seen in the photos. The handle was formed from two knobby branches which were secured at the apex with nails (see photo 2). A true wabi-sabi piece with bumps and bruises of a long life obviously but a representation of a time-worn handcrafted art form of utilitarian ware from the past with an enduring charm and appeal. A perfect example of what wabi-sabi is all about, the ability to embrace the perfectly imperfect. It measures 16½” x 8½” x 7¼” H/W/D; interior 8¼” x 6½” x 6½” H/W/D; weight 13 oz.
