This was purchased from a shop in Germany that gets pieces direct from the storage rooms of the furnaces. I do not see much for wear on it other than his right toe having been bumped and has a sharp edge you need to feel and look very closely for. Also, there is a makers variation in the amount of color in each eye. The "heart" or "blood spot" of the bird is a true dark charcoal grey/black.
It measures about 5.5"H x 3"L x 2"W While I have not seen any of these available online, if you want to further verify authenticity, join Murano Animals group on FB and you will see it is documented in the bird portion of their zoo file. less
