Beautiful Pink/Peach Victorian Satin Glass Bowl with ruffled pink edge resting on a silverplated winged Cherub Stand. During the Victorian Era this was often given as a Wedding Gift & called a Bride's Bowl and/or Bride's Basket. Used as a centerpiece on a Dining Table. Today, place it where you need a pop of color, coffee table, bookcase, etc.
The exquisite hand painted bowl has highly detailed raised enameled blue Forget-Me-Not flowers & gold gilt vines. The initial 'H' in gold gilt is shown on the inside bottom of the bowl. The inside of bowl is pale yellow, and the outside is pink. So, when the light shines through the glass, the color takes on a peach glow.
The stunning stand is quadruple silverplate & is marked on the underside. A true lasting beauty. A classic!

The small pink acid etched glass bowl came with this Bride's Basket at the Estate Sale, so I am including it with the purchase. They have been together for well over a hundred years so I just couldn't separate them now. less
