This escritoire, or secretary desk, is a genuine country furniture from northern Sweden made around 1820 to 1840. Made by hand in solid pine with original faux paint. The paint has some minor marks and distress after 200 years of use, see pictures. Original hardware, the original locks and keys are still present and in functional condition. Healthy and stable frame. The frame is 38 cm deep and at the top it is 27 cm deep. Depth with the writing desk open is 72 cm. Height to the writing desk is 71 cm. See less
