these little leather animals were folded and riveted by hand from just one thick piece of leather.
the animals are stamped deru germany.
origami technique.
the deru company manufactured these leather animals in the 1960s.
each animal is unique because it was lovingly made by hand. This can be seen particularly well with boxers.
everyone has an individual facial expression and a different shape and size.
