The individual parts were joined at the corners with elaborate finger joints. The top is made of birch plywood. A professional restorer has slightly reworked all the wooden parts. An upholstery studio from Zurich made the loose cushion from scratch and covered it with a Kvadrat Hallingdal wool fabric. The daybed is now in perfect condition, with a slight patina on the wooden parts. It is somewhat reminiscent of the designs by French designer Charlotte Perriand (1903 - 1999) for the "Les Arcs" ski resort in Savoy. The head section is infinitely adjustable. This makes the lounger suitable for resting comfortably as well as for a deep sleep. Length 188cm. less
