The wood is an aged … more Design Plus Gallery presents an Ornamental French Gothic Antique Armoire in the Neo Renaissance Style. The wood is an aged and rich walnut with coat of arms richly carved of what could be aristocratic coats of arms mixed in with a wine theme. The door are perfectly symmetrical, notice their near identical proportions. Starting from the top you will notice a bowl of grapes centered on the upper panel front with acanthus scrolls cascading outwards or inwards. There are three center pillar shaped beams with their own top and lower carvings that are flanking the sides and center of cabinet doors. The doors themselves have symbolic square pattern work that mirror each other and even a riveted frame with in the door. Made entirely of solid aged walnut, with three matching shelves on the inside. Triple lions heads on the base with cherubs in some of the detail work as well. In good condition with minimal signs of wear. Does not come with a key. less
