This pretty Thonet bistro chair, n°20 in the catalogue, was produced at the beginning of the 20th century: a resolutely Belle Epoque spirit emanates from it. The “Omega” file makes it a rare piece, for collectors or lovers of pretty things filled with poetic nostalgia. One of its previous owners gave it a beautiful off-white paint job, both bright and tender. Pretty office chair, in front of a dressing table or completing a mismatched set around the table, it will not go unnoticed\.

The structure of the chair (no. 20 in the Thonet catalog) is made of bent wood. Repainted in cream white several decades ago, it has a lovely patina and some paint losses. The seat is caned and in good condition. The chair is stable and comfortable.

42 to 47cm in diameter, 47cm in seat height and 90cm in height. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
