Two impressive sculptural wall lights produced by the Raak lighting company in the 1960ies.The model is called 'Balans', design Bertrand Balas. It is well documented in several catalogues from the sixties and seventies.
Clearly influenced by the Brutalist art movements from the sixties and seventies. The designs are clearly influenced by Anvia, Hoogervorst, Sarfatti, Arteluce and Stilnovo products. Great opportunity to buy as a set in similar color scheme and size.
Fixtures are suitable for build-in-wall or wiring outside. Both lamps has a normal E 27 bulbholder, suitable for modern LED bulbs. Both good condition, great opportunity to purchase as a pair. Rewired through the whole lamp, both lights have the original suspension parts! I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
