A six drawer chest by Paul Laszlo for Brown Saltman. Oak veneer with 100’s of individual tiles laid in an an interwoven basket weave pattern. Great texture and warmth. This exceedingly rare cabinet has been recently refinished. The cabinet floats on solid plinth legs with winged accents lends it a French flair reminiscent Charlotte perriand. This cabinet would work well with pieces by Edward Wormley and Harvey Probber. Manufactured in the 1950's.
