Charles Bertie Hall painted marine scenes, landscapes, and town scenes in both America, Uk, and Europe.

His paintings have been collected all over the world with many being sold in America and the UK.

This painting came from the private collection of the artist's family.

The sketch was originally painted on a larger artist's board and then was later cut out giving many small different scenes. That way Charles could paint a few different scenes almost at the same time, in many cases trying to capture the quickly changing light or weather conditions.

This piece is monogrammed on the lower left and inscribed on the reverse.

The piece has been framed in a Modern contemporary white frame, and is glazed, though in the photos the glass has been removed to take better photos. less
