A solid oak daybed model ge 19 designed by hans wegner for getama, denmark, 1956. This very modern design constructed in oak wood and brass shows a beautiful contrast in materials. Solid oak wood is used for the legs and frame. The brass cushion support bars on both sides are definitely the highlight and add a beautiful touch to the otherwise minimalist design. The daybed comes with a completely new cushion and oval shaped pillow, upholstered in a high quality structured natural linen with buttons. The underside reveals the original green spring coil cover and a solid wood frame with brass spring coils which provide support.
