This table has an abundance of details like the ribbed base and the imposing lion's paw feet with gilt claws. The marble top is truly remarkable with its precisely aligned pieces. For those of you familiar with Maitland-Smith furniture, you will recognize the stickers in the last two pictures (refer to pictures 11 and 12). The sticker with the name of the company and the country of origin has apparently been removed. Their furniture is primarily made in the Philippines where craftsmen still have the skills to produce wonderful pieces like this one. This table is in remarkably good condition. The marble top has no issues to mention, and the wooden base is in very good vintage condition with only a minimal amount of wear to the gilding. less
