This teardrop shaped vase has bullicante bubbles present at the base of the vase. The top of the vase has a purple rim with light green and pink glass inside the vase. The vase is signed “Toan 2001” to the lower edge.

Toan Klein was born in New York and learned about glassblowing at a young age. He quickly accepted an apprenticeship with Venetian glassblowers in Canada. His art glass is found in a variety of museum collections, including the Corning Museum of Glass and the Royal Ontario Museum. less
