Antique Nippon Japan Porcelain White With Gold Trim Demitasse Cup With Matching Saucer
This is a delicate, thin, simple demitasse cup and saucer produced in Japan between 1911 and 1921. The cup and saucer are white with gold trim. The trim appears to be hand-painted. The cup has the blue rising sun mark on the bottom.
Measures ~ 2" high x 1.75" in diameter. Holds ~2 ounces of liquid.
~ 4 1/2" saucer diameter
The set is in excellent vintage condition. Without chips, cracks, or crazing. Normal age-related wear. It is marked on the bottom of the cup with the Nippon rising sun backstamp.
