The brackets are attached to the mantel and catch tongs, poker, shovel, brushes, etc. stored on the hearth. Hand cast construction. The urn finials are exceptionally large. Each stands 7 1/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide x 4 1/2" out from the wall and the back plates measure 5" x 1 1/8". Good condition and mellow pleasing patina. We have a second matching pair listed separately.
