Such an absolute beautiful piece featuring A beautiful maiden embracing Dionysus the god of grapes and wine . This beautiful statue came from the Hadid estate LeBelvedere Castle . It was located in the motor court of the main entrance surrounded with beautiful roses and in twined with an enchanting Ivy. This home was listed for $89 million when the home was originally built there was no expense spared the home it’s self was built with imported blocks of lime stone from Jerusalem. Carved ItalIan marble was shipped in and found throughout thIs Estate Over 19 marble fireplaces along with several statues and fountains such amazing rich detail truly creating A visionary dream come true. This home was featured in Forbes magazine and the Wall Street Journal along with several magazines such as Harper bazaar which help to capture the true beauty of this estate . Very famous people had stayed at this home including such as Michael Jackson and his family. Recently a music video was just released that was shot in the beautiful garden as well as the poker room movie theater and ballroom areas. The music video was to release the song Dinero by Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B. Great work has gone in to the making of the statue. Somehow in the carving of the stone they have captured such lifelike features. There are beautiful veins that run throughout the marble we cannot put into words the true beauty of such a piece. The statue stands on top of a beautiful carved base giving it grand scale. I’m not sure of its true age but you can tell there but it is older. It is in overall good condition I did notice a few small repairs, one of which is on the corner of the base and also the top left corner of the pillar at the base of the Dionysus bust along with a few scratches in the marble most likely due to it being outside but nothing major I tried to capture all detail in photos but the photos truly do not do it justice. A statue of this caliber belongs in a beautiful garden . I have seen similar reproductions of statues like this but nothing quite like this one you can see the quality in the craftsmanship as well as the materials that were used all the way down to the curves in her legs and knees .77 x29x24 with a base 24x29x20 tall less
