Description: Incredible genuine leather-covered solid wood stand handmade by the artisans at Maitland-Smith....just an absolute dynamite piece---heavy, solid wood construction that's … more Incredible genuine leather-covered solid wood stand handmade by the artisans at Maitland-Smith....just an absolute dynamite piece---heavy, solid wood construction that's been covered top to bottom in beautiful leather....the top surface has been given a "faux-antique" finish, meant to emulate an aged piece, while also featuring striking reds and golds in the design....the rectangular base is heavy and solid, and the piece features three tapered pillars that connect to the base, traveling up to support the top....the top is designed like a large rectangular tray, with lovely sculptural edges....a wonderful high-end piece, and in excellent condition....there are two small areas of wear to the leather, both are photographed (photos 7 and 9)....they're very minor, and don't detract at all from the envy-inducing beauty of this Maitland-Smith masterpiece... less
