Vintage Japanese Imari Style Porcelain Vase W/Blue Wood Stand Palace Scene Mark

This exquisite mid-20th century Japanese porcelain vase is marked with a blue bird inside the ring and signed with red Japanese characters underneath, showcasing the Imari style. It sits atop a regal wooden stand with five feet, connected by stretchers. The vase is hand-painted in low relief.

On one side of the vase, a scene unfolds where three geishas serve an Emperor within the palace, with a view of the gardens in the background. On the opposite side, the geishas are depicted enjoying themselves in the palace garden.

Measuring 13 inches in diameter and 13 inches in height, the stand elevates the piece to an overall height of 22 inches. See less
