Offering a pair of SMALL Italian porcelain lidded canister jars depicting a bundle of wrapped asparagus stalks, circa late 20th century. These trompe l'Oeil jars are almost identical with one tied in a pink ribbon and slightly lighter in color and the other tied in a brown ribbon and slightly darker in color. The tips of the asparagus are the lids with one a lavender color and the other with a pink color. Each jar is engraved on bottom: MADE IN ITALY, 4973 with black hand painted serial numbers 913, 937.
EXCELLENT CONDITION.....no chips or cracks...very clean inside. Some minor crackling to the glaze on the lighter jar.
