This is a vintage medium size fruit covered ceramic box with 22k brushed gold finish
The maker is Stangl Pottery, a company in New Jersey, that manufactured a line of hand-painted dinnerware known as “Stangl ware”. The company ceased production and closed in 1978, but the dinnerware is still prized by collectors as “a truly unique American folk-art product”.
