After completing his studies in architecture at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), Pani embarked on a successful career as an architect. However, his passion for design and craftsmanship led him to delve into the world of furniture and decorative arts.
In the 1940s, Pani established his own design studio, which quickly gained recognition for its innovative and elegant creations. Drawing inspiration from Mexican traditions and combining them with modern aesthetics, Pani's designs showcased a unique blend of functionality and artistic expression.

His pieces exuded a sense of sophistication and timeless elegance. He was particularly renowned for his exquisite chairs, tables, cabinets, and lighting fixtures, which became highly sought after by collectors and design enthusiasts.
Throughout his career, Pani collaborated with prominent architects and interior designers, creating custom-made pieces for prestigious projects such as hotels, government buildings, and private residences. His work was not only limited to furniture but also extended to the design of interiors, including decorative objects and accessories.
Pani's contributions to the Mexican design scene were not limited to his own creations. He also played a crucial role in promoting and supporting other talented designers and artisans.
