There is a twist knob for off and on. Weighted circular base is 10" diam. and the adjustable arm increases the height from 36" to 62." Arm extension is 15" from end of dome to bend of arm. Half dome shade. The arm and dome appear to be solid brass, but I believe the base to be only a brass-style overlay because of the type of wear and rust in areas (only spotted rust appearance on the base). less

Lamp is in overall good condition and light works great! The brass finish has places of darkened patina and there are some slight rust marks on the base. The arm and dome appear to be solid brass, but I believe the base to be only a brass style overlay because of the type of wear and rust found on base. The dome shows a flaky finish (paint?) to the underside (shown in photo 6). The adjustable arm can fully raise, but it loosely moves up and down and doesn't always stay in position.
