- An Art Deco vase designed by Charles Catteau for Boch Keramis for the group of pieces in the Atalier de … more An Art Deco vase designed by Charles Catteau for Boch Keramis for the group of pieces in the Atalier de Fantasie Collection produced in La Louviere. Catteau was considered the master of Art Deco design, and his work predates the explosion of the style in the 1920’s. Within one year of being hired by Boch pottery in 1907 Catteau designed a line called Atelier de Fantasie that employed the use of “ceramic cloissone” which this vase is from. This vase is one of his better known designs. It has a beautiful white crackled background with four panels of yellow, orange, cobalt blue, and turquoise flowers in a planter with turquoise beads hanging off it. The colors are beautiful and bright and fun like the era they come from. It measures 9 1/4”H x 5 3/4”W. less
