Found in Turkey, this heavily carved bench with cushion dates from the 1910s. Dark stained wood frame - we believe this is teak but cannot be sure - has intricate, highly carved detail on the high sides and apron. Moorish style arched opening on sides of leg panels. Original fabric cushion with woven pattern of birds highlighted with metallic threads. Unknown maker.
Very good overall antique condition with no breaks or repairs found. Some minor scattered fading and wear to wood frame throughout.
