A Flemish pastoral landscape tapestry panel from the 17th century, depicting a young swain leading his flock by playing a bagpipe in a verdant woodland area before bushes and a large tree. Enclosed by a trompe l’oeil frame-like border with scrolling garlands, acanthus leaves, and rosettes. Wool with silk inlay. Measures: 5’3” H x 3’0” W.
Hanging: The tapestry comes ready for hanging, with linen backing and a strip of hook and loop tape at the top end, which can be connected to the opposite side of the supplied hook and loop tape, which could be tacked to your wall.
