Originating in the 17th Century in … more This one-of-a-kind piece is a stunning example of the handmade nature of Kuba cloth. Originating in the 17th Century in the Kuba kingdom of Africa (Now the Democratic Rep.of Congo), the Kuba cloth has maintained its roots. Usually represented by bold graphic patterns that suggest movement, there are irregularities that accent the hand made nature of each stitch. The Kuba cloth is carefully cut and laminated over a mirrored gold interior and finished with a rolled edge on top and bottom. The Kuba cloth itself is handmade in Africa, while the manufacturing of the pendant is done at our facility in Atlanta, Georgia.

On the interior of the pendant you will find a 4-light (E26/Medium base) cluster that is hand finished in a deep oil rubbed bronze to contrast against the mirrored interior. The pendant comes with six feet of chain and a matching canopy which allow for a total drop of 88" from the ceiling.
