Description: Small marquetry secretary. It is decorated with flower marquetry, a bouquet and foliage and wood stained in the Charles X … more Small marquetry secretary. It is decorated with flower marquetry, a bouquet and foliage and wood stained in the Charles X style.

It opens with a drawer in the upper part, a flap and 4 drawers in the lower part whose interiors are in mahogany, each element is framed by a brass molding.

The top, in 'griotte red from the Pyrenees' marble, is also set with a brass rod.

The flap, covered in burgundy red leather, changed, reveals a mahogany tabernacle composed of 2 lockers and 2 drawers.

It rests on 4 ‘top’ legs.

Period: NAPOLEON III – Second half of the 19th century.
