Hand hammered and crafted with raised dots intercepted by 5 lines and a wide band. This is a wonderful antique bowl that was used in front of Buddha in the temple as an oil lamp. It held the oil donated by devotees and kept the lamp burning throughout the day and night, symbolizing eternal and guarding light. Etched and signed with maker's mark, their logo and the marking of "First Generation Original". 3.15 lb. We will provide a complimentary new wood and leather striker, if you wish to strike it for your meditation. Not a singing bowl. less
