An Art Deco Period Sterling Silver Plunger Pickle Fork, Marked By Paye & Baker Manufacturing Co., North Attleboro, Massachusetts, Operating From 1901 – 1920.
The Mechanical Pickle Fork Has Four Tines, The Outer Two Are Barbed. The Plunger Is Depressed From The End Using A Thumb, Pushing The Pickles From The Fork With A Moveable Tine Sweep. There Is A Finger Rest On The Shaft For Leverage.
