- Marina Abramovic Illy Spirit Cup and Saucer, #0520 Cup and Saucer given as Thank You gifts only to attendees at … more Marina Abramovic Illy Spirit Cup and Saucer, #0520 Cup and Saucer given as Thank You gifts only to attendees at the annual fundraiser gala for LosAngeles Museum of Contemporary Art in 2011 . The price for the gala was $2500 per person. This was Marina Abramovic’s second contribution to the Illy Spirit Cup series, but is distinguished from the first (2002) in that it was never available for sale. In her performance at the event, she drank from a cup allowing coffee to spill through the hole all over her white medical jacket. She explained that the hole is for sharing with the spirits. The other performance artists also used the cups in the show. The cup measures 2" Tall x 2 3/8" in diameter and thesaucer is 4 3/4" in diameter. This cup has not been used. It has sat on a shelf in the same home since the night of the performance. It is in perfect condition. less
