Metamodern, existential, colorful, Engelund's paintings take us further into visceral encounters with paint and text as his landscapes abstract into the poetic road via a playful cosmos.
Engelund seamlessly juxtaposes contradictory notions of painting, from zen-like hand-less aretê to childlike technê, while embracing the range of simple pleasures of, to the ab-ex impact of color.
