Upholstered in a orange textured fabric with original decorative brass finials.

Standing on carved barley twist front legs and H stretcher with slightly angled back.

The sprung and padded seats are usable - you may wish to be replace so crown of seat is higher/firmer when seated, along with underside if you reupholster.

The dark oak frames have developed a lovely aged patina with some minor wear, nicks and imperfections throughout adding to their old world charm and they are in solid, sturdy condition.

As a high-end NY-based designer, I bought these antique chairs in Hudson, NY from a reputable antique dealer and have used them for the last 15 years. Beautiful craftsmanship and special details for a highly affordable price - they are great opportunity for reupholstery in a faux leather seat and fabric back for a fresh look that fits your dining room whether transitional, timeless or traditionally styled.
