This piece has been fashioned from a single piece of petrified wood, which is a fossil. Over time, the petrified wood becomes so sturdy and dense that it is as heavy as marble. This substantial piece weighs in at a whopping 1,100 pounds! (So please be mindful of the weight for appropriate placement within your home, and man power needed to move it!) The coloring is a beautiful mixture of bone, black, grey tones with small areas of medium brown. The base is ready to be topped with a nice piece of glass, or other tabletop of your choosing.
