- These chairs were purchased from high-end Estate. The Upolstery does not appear to be 100 years old. So I would … moreThese chairs were purchased from high-end Estate. The Upolstery does not appear to be 100 years old. So I would have to say that it has been redone sometime in the last century. However, there is a light colored stain on the one chair, so they most likely would need to be reupholstered, there is also a small chip in the wood on one of the legs due to the age of the pieces are at least 100 years old and most likely older. They are in amazing condition! less
