Toilet Psyche Commode in mahogany veneer, (burl for the drawers and wire for the sides), white marble top surmounted by a psyche with a ‘shell’ pediment framed by 2 turned columns.
It opens with a drawer revealing a sliding white marble vanity top and 3 storage drawers (oak interiors). All lockable.
Hoof feet, cut sides and oak back.
Period: second half of the 19th century.
Perfect condition – except for a crack on the marble above – after restoration, stripping and waxed patina in our workshop. Locks and keys in working order.
